My Time in Broadcast News

My professional experience spans broadcast news, digital media and live production, where I have taken on increasingly complex roles in producing, managing and executing high-profile media coverage. At Telemundo Arizona, I progressed from assignment desk editor and backup producer to full-time news producer, where I was responsible for producing weekday 5 p.m. newscasts and leading the development of ¡Qué Tal Arizona!, a bilingual digital newscast distributed across multiple platforms. I also managed and produced special projects including community town halls, resource fairs and an annual monsoon special, while contributing to coverage of major events such as the 2023 Super Bowl and political rallies. As a media manager, I also provided technical support, troubleshooting and training for Dalet Galaxy.

I began my broadcast career in 2021 at Telemundo Utah as a technical director and backup producer, directing daily newscasts and overseeing the visual execution of live broadcasts. Throughout my time in the industry, my work has been recognized with a Rocky Mountain Emmy Award for breaking news coverage and a Silver Telly Award for editing a special report. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington, where I worked as a reporter and producer for UTA News and UTA News En Español and served as News Director for UTA Radio
